Spring and early summer in the Chew Valley

With the many ash trees being the last to come into leaf the old saying may be true for 2019 as it was in 2018.

‘When the oak is before the ash then there will be a splash, when the ash is before the oak there will be a soak’

What ever the weather there is plenty to do. Bristol is full of history, sites, green spaces and of course the harbour and river side.

Bath in the other direction needs no introduction and new shops and galleries add to the delight of the old streets and buildings. Check out the new garden at the American Museum. It is stunning.

We have loved the new fish restaurant Lazy Lobster in Chew Magna many time this winter.
