There are some local sites and eateries that may benefit from a little forward thinking.
A trip to the Somerset Levels or Chew Valley Lake is well worth it if birds and birdlife interest you. We often see buzzards and kestrels close by the Stables but the RSPB sites in Somerset are just 40 minutes away and you can see the Lake though its a 10 minute drive.
After a day enjoying the countryside a good meal is worth planning for so book before you get hungry
